just love.

My morning started abruptly when I heard my cousins were in Las Vegas on the strip during the tragic chaos that ensued last night. Since then, we've heard from them that they are safe. Beyond scared & frightened, but safe. Thanking God.

But those who are not okay, those who are injured, those whose lives ended from this horrific act of violence---I don't even have the words.

My heart just breaks for this broken world.

I just got finished running morning errands and stopped at a park to drink my coffee and just sit here and just pray. How trivial my to do list seems today. I'm reminded that connecting with humanity and praying fiercely and fervently to God right now is not only needed, but it's the only thing that keeps me sane in moments like these.

Praying for the families and friends of those whose lives were taken so suddenly from them.

Praying for those who were injured or witnessed the event--for they will forever have these images and feelings in their minds.

Praying for our country.

Praying for our hearts.

Praying for the future, and that my kids will see & experience less and less of these heartbreaking events in their lifetime.

Praying for hope to be instilled in our hearts and minds. Because this is all I have to cling to when I see or hear the news anymore.

Life is so very precious, friends.

Use every minute of our days wisely. Tell our family and friends how much they mean to us, because there is nothing greater than Love.
